The annual year-end blog review turned up some interesting information about the most read posts during 2013 and since this blog began in 2008. Search terms that brought readers to the blog were also analyzed. The short version of results is offered here.

The most popular post on this blog during 2013 was “What Did The Ute Indians Eat.” The post was part of a series answering the most frequent search questions posted by students during the previous year (2012).

Over the five years of this blog, the most viewed posts were:
#1 Greetings At Christmas, which featured a World War II era holiday greeting card;
#2 Books For Christmas
#3 A Road from Denver to Salt Lake 1861 (Second entry on an archive page)
#4 What Did The Utes Eat

The most frequently used search terms that brought visitors to the site were:
#1 Chipeta
#2 Meeker Massacre
#3 What Did the Utes Eat
